The FlyPelican Airlines Cadet Program is the latest cadetship on offer in Australia. Inbound Aviation has a reputation for producing highly trained sought after pilots who are multi-faceted and job ready. As a flight crew member operating within the FlyPelican network, you will fly in the most complex and challenging environment Australia has to offer.
Inbound Aviation is the preferred training provider for the program. On successful completion of Inbound’s AVI50222 – Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence Aeroplane) and Professional Pilots Program, you may be selected for a position with FlyPelican

This is a self-funded program. This course does NOT attract VET Student Loan and does not result in a nationally recognised qualification.
Prior to opening applications, we will host Information Sessions via Zoom which provide a detailed overview of the cadetship in its entirety, from the selection criteria and process, through to cost, inclusions and career pathways.
Course Details
- 6 Month Course Duration after completion of prerequisite of AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation – Commercial Pilots License Aeroplane
- You will obtain a Multi Engine Instrument Rating, ATPL Theory Course & Multi Crew Co-operation Course.
- Upon successful completion of this course, you may be offered a pathway to a fixed term 12-month contract as a FlyPelican Airlines First Officer.
- Full remuneration during the employment contract period as per the Air Pilots Award.
- This course combines both classroom-based ground theory and practical flight training.
- ATPL ground theory (Flight Planning, Navigation, Systems and Performance and Loading)
- Prerequisite of Inbound Aviation’s AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation – Commercial Pilots License Aeroplane
- Available to Australian Citizens or applicants that have PR (Permanent Residency) only.
- Education level required: Year 12 or higher.

FlyPelican Airlines & Inbound Aviation are excited to announce that an agreement to commence a new pilot cadetship program, has been made.
FlyPelican is a regional airline and aircraft charter company based at Newcastle Airport, Williamtown, NSW on the east coast of Australia, operating a fleet of 19 seat British Aerospace Jetstream 32 aircraft. Currently operating regular scheduled passenger services between; Newcastle-Canberra, Newcastle-Ballina (Byron Bay), Sydney-Mudgee, Sydney-Cobar, Sydney-Bathurst and Newcastle-Sydney, In addition to closed air charter services.
