Prior to opening applications, we will host Information Sessions via Zoom which provide a detailed overview of the cadetship in its entirety, from the selection criteria and process, through to cost, inclusions and career pathways. Next Zoom session: Tuesday 7th May 2024.

Course Details
- 15 Month Course Duration
- You will obtain a Multi Engine Class Rating, Commercial Pilot License, Multi Engine Instrument Rating, Multi Crew Co-operation Course, ATPL theory, and Jetstream 32 endorsement.
- Upon successful completion of the course, you will be offered a 12 month contract as a FlyPelican Airlines First Officer.
- Guaranteed 450 Hours In A Jetstream 32
- Full remuneration during the employment contract period as per the Air Pilots Award.
- This course combines both classroom based ground theory and practical flight training.
- ATPL ground theory (Flight Planning, Navigation, Systems and Performance and Loading)
- Opportunity to become a valued team member within the Fly Pelican Airlines ground crew while completing your training.
- Available to Australian Citizens or applicants that have PR (Permanent Residency) only.
- Additional training provided: Dangerous Goods, DAMP (drug and alcohol education) program, First Aid training.
- Education level required: Year 12 or higher.
- Selected applicants will be offered to attend a face-to-face interview.
- Prior to the commencement of the cadetship students will need to obtain their ARN (Aviation Reference Number), Class CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate and ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card).
- Designed for zero flight time candidates. Candidates with prior experience up to RPL are eligible. Flight experience up to PPL will be considered on a case by case basis.
- This is a self-funded program. This course does NOT attract VET FEE HELP.
