The AVI60219 Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command) at Inbound Aviation, prepares you for the final step to being in right hand or left hand seat of a large air transport operation. We have two options for you depending on the stage of your career.
Option 1:
- Covers the 7 Air Transport Pilot Licence theory subjects
- MCC Certificate
- Gives you a “frozen” Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- Teaches you how to operate in a multi-crew environment
- Gives you with skills needed to fly in an Airline operation, and
- Ensures you have the training and competencies required to be the pilot in command of a multi-crew aircraft.
Option 2:
- Air Transport Pilots Licence
- Completed in 2 weeks
- This option is for those who already have a “frozen” Air Transport Pilot Licence ATPL and have the CASA minimum experience for the issue of the licence.

AVI60219 – Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot In Command)
This nationally recognised qualification is the final academic step toward commanding a multi-crew aircraft. Delivered over 12 weeks, it covers all 7 CASA Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) theory subjects, Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certification, and the advanced command competencies required for airline operations. Graduates leave with a “frozen” ATPL and the skills to step directly into a First Officer role with an Australian airline.
A second pathway delivered over 2 weeks is available for pilots who already hold a frozen ATPL and meet CASA’s minimum experience requirements for full licence issue.
